This sticker depicts a scene from our Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep relocation project. The project involved capturing sheep using helicopters and net guns, and then transporting them to a new location with suitable habitat and resources.
During the actual relocation process, the captured sheep were carefully monitored to ensure that they were healthy and not under undue stress. They were fitted with radio collars to help researchers keep tabs on their movements and behavior.
In total, Wild Society helped relocate 82 Desert Bighorns around the state of Arizona!
